College English (1)(2) High Intermediate
This course uses talks, reports, discussions of various themes as class materials, and guides students to understand the main ideas, and express their opinions in group discussion. Students are expected to make reports on the themes or topics discussed in class. Besides, TOEIC vocabulary quizzes will be implemented to promote students’ vocabulary ability. The course also requires students to do a 3-minute self-introduction orally and write an autobiography of 150-200 words.

This course uses talks, reports, discussions of various themes as class materials, and guides students to understand the main ideas, and through practicing conversations, to apply and use the language skills in the real life. The course also supplements other related articles for students to strengthen their basic reading strategies, and hence elevate students’ interest in reading. Besides, TOEIC vocabulary quizzes will be implemented to promote students’ vocabulary ability. The course also requires students to do a 1-3 minute self-introduction orally and write an autobiography of 100-150 words.
